Ceilings by Design is one of NSW's most established commercial ceiling and interior lining suppliers, serving builders, contractors and project managers across Sydney and beyond. Based at Kings Park in Western Sydney, they've built a loyal repeat customer base on product knowledge, accurate quoting and getting the job right the first time.

About the Role
If you're tired of weekend rosters, call queues and targets that leave no time to actually solve a customer's problem, this is a different kind of customer role.
As Internal Sales Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for builders, contractors and project managers who call or email in about their projects. You'll work out what they need, prepare an accurate quote, and follow the order through to delivery. The enquiries come to you. Your job is to be the person customers trust to get the numbers right and call back when you said you would.

You don't need to know ceilings. You'll be trained on the product range, the quoting system and how commercial projects run. What you bring is the part that's harder to teach: patience with busy customers, a head for numbers and an eye for detail.

Duties

• Respond to inbound phone and email enquiries from builders, contractors and project managers
• Prepare accurate quotes and pricing using the company's estimating tools (full training provided)
• Process confirmed orders and coordinate delivery scheduling
• Follow up open quotes and look after repeat customers
• Work alongside the external sales team, sharing product knowledge and keeping the pipeline up to date

Skills & Experience
You might be coming from customer service, a call centre, retail, a trade counter, internal sales or sales admin. What matters is that you:

• Enjoy talking with customers and stay calm and clear when they need an answer fast
• Are good with numbers and happy to double-check your work
• Spot the detail others miss, a wrong quantity, a missing line item, a date that doesn't add up
• Pick up new systems quickly and are curious about how things are built
• Are organised and follow through on what you promise

Building materials or construction experience is a bonus, not a requirement. If you've taken pride in getting an order exactly right for a customer, the product knowledge is the easy part and it's taught here.
