With a stable team of around 25 at the Morningside staff and a facility that was fully fit out to purpose built to support the team and the businesses ongoing growth, this is a hardworking, no-nonsense team where leadership is accessible and performance is genuinely recognised.
About the Role
Join the internal sales team at Morningside and own the trade enquiry pipeline from first contact to quote delivery. Working alongside an experienced external sales team, you’ll build product knowledge and customer relationships in a structured, supportive environment. No tools required. No cold calls. Full training from day one.
Duties
- Manage inbound trade enquiries from builders, contractors, project managers and internal stakeholders
- Prepare accurate project quotes and pricing using estimating software
- Process sales orders and coordinate delivery schedules
- Support external sales representatives with quote preparation and customer follow-up
- Build and maintain relationships with repeat project clients
- Confident communicator — comfortable engaging with walk in and over the phone enquiries
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail — quoting accuracy is essential
- Background in internal sales, trade counter, customer service, or estimating (or transferable experience from retail management, hospitality, or commercial admin)
- Quick to learn systems and processes
- Team-oriented with a reliable, detail-focused approach
